Upcoming Genealogical Conference, 4/30/2022 (Right in Fluvanna!)

Updated: Apr 21, 2022

History Fair and Classes Open to the Public

The Fenton History Center’s Genealogy Support Group is hosting the second annual Chautauqua Regional Genealogical Conference right in our backyard at the Fluvanna Community Church. The purpose of this conference is to educate the public regarding the importance of learning about and preserving the past. This conference will teach and encourage genealogists and family historians the skills to achieve success in preserving their own family’s rich history. The organizers hope the conference will ...

  • increase the skills and confidence of attendees in researching their family history;

  • strengthen our communities by helping people connect with their family history;

  • encourage people to become more active and supportive of local historical societies, libraries and museums that help to preserve local history for generations to come.

To find out more about the event visit the Chautauqua Regional Genealogical Conference website.
