One hundred “champions,“ who fundraise $100 each, will raise enough funds to replace the roof on Fluvanna’s historic Meeting House.
Since June 2021, the Fluvanna Community Historical Society (FCHS) has been raising funds to replace the #roof on our community’s historic #Meeting #House. Over these past six months, people throughout our community have given their time and #donations and we’re now half-way to meeting our goal. What an accomplishment!!
We‘re within site of our goal, but there's still a ways to go.
Here Come the “Fundraising Champions”:
To help us get across the finish line, we’re recruiting one hundred people who will commit to raising $100 each for the Historical Society. This may include:
raising $10 from ten friends, co-workers or family members;
raising $20 from five friends, co-workers or family members;
students could shovel or snow-blow ten driveways for $10 each;
wrap 20 presents or take 20 dog walks for $5 each;
Regardless of how the donations are raised, if only one hundred “#fundraising #champions” raise at least $100, we’ll raise $10,000 in total! This, along with the matching funds promised by a donor earlier this year, will be all the money we need to replace the Meeting House roof.

- registration is not required but encouraged to ensure all "fundraising champions" receive recognition for helping to replace the roof of our historic Meeting House and so we can provide whatever assistance may be possible.

Enter your first and last name in the corresponding fields;
Enter your email address (if we do not have your email address on file already);
Click the "Submit" button
- that's all there is to it! You're now signed-up as a "Fundraising Champion" and you can start raising the funds.
