Western New York's Favorite Professional Football and Hockey Teams Pledge to Promote the Historical Society and Match Donations Made from July 14, 2022 through July 16, 2022
The Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres recently announced an unprecedented partnership with the Fluvanna Community Historical Society (FCHS). Recognizing the vital role FCHS, and other nonprofits throughout Western New York (WNY), play in revitalizing our community, the Bills and Sabres pledged to match donations made to FCHS as part of their 'Give 716' campaign. Additionally, WNY's favorite hometown teams committed to raising awareness of the important work and vision of FCHS.

🏈… What is 'Give 716'?
'Give 716' is our community’s day of online giving sponsored by the Bills and Sabres. In response to the urgent needs our nonprofit community in WNY is facing as a whole, the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres Foundations created 'Give 716'. This 36-hour campaign provides an easy and fun way for our entire community to unite in support of local nonprofits.

"Kick-off" = Thursday, 7/14 @ 7:16 PM, and

🏈… How are the Bills and Sabres Helping?
The Bills and Sabres pledged to support FCHS, and other nonprofits throughout WNY, by not only organizing 'Give 716' but also providing publicity, technical assistance and securing contributions from corporate sponsors.
Most significantly, the Bills and Sabres secured nearly $200,000 in matching donations to encourage their fans to give to our cause.
